What's So Good About The Sony HDR-FX7E

The new Sony HDV camcorder promises better digital camcorder performance from a lighter smaller camcorder able to record your movies in high-definition ready for playback on your high-definition television.

The Sony HDR-FX7E includes a series of extras such as the 3ClearVid CMOS sensor system, and Carl Zeiss 20x optical zoom. It also boasts a long battery life and 3 1/2 inch LCD screen. This digital camcorder offers a built-in Super SteadyShot image stabiliser thus reducing shaky images even at high zoom settings.

It is considerably lighter and smaller than the previous HDR-FX1E as well as being able to capture bursts of images at an amazing 200 fields/sec. Not only that, the Sony HDRFX7E offers some eight hours of non-stop recording utilising an HDMI interface and one cable connection.

Naturally this kind of technology doesn't come cheap, but the benefits will be plain to see!
